  2. No.  But I can't explain the ridiculous inhumanities in the world either.  I can talk somewhat educated and somewhat logical, but I cannot make sense of something that puts more importance in any one gender as being more important than another in any way.  This quotation only makes you wonder the possibilities in which it was written. It is filled with as many riddles as scripture and other confusing text that people take to whatever extreme their hearts desire.  Are you suggesting women are merely to procreate and yet men are here simply to be amused or amusing?  Is that why it is the WOMEN who are dragging the men around to the family gatherings, PTA functions and loading everything but the kitchen sink to spend the weeknd with some fam or friends up North?  Because they are the anti social ones?  Or the fact that mens hormones and need to travel is the only thing that causes them to procreate?  Otherwise where would a "biological necessity" become a valuable comment?  If I remember correctly it still takes 2.  Although Men are in conflict as in thier "active" years they are not looking to procreate.  Yet the woman wants to stop him dead in his tracks to do the right thing and not be disrespected.  So willing to be a right person, men will go along with this understanding it is all good.  Can't live without it so it must be right.  Then women who finally reach their "active " phase much later in life and trust me, there is no pro-creation on their mind.  They have simply flipped sides with the opponent.  Now who is a social invention and who is a biological necessity?  Now that you've passed biology and you are in gym, does that mean that a womans conflict is less natural and more entertainment at this point?  Why wouldn't this quotation consider the obvious alternatives at later junctions? And make that part of the equation.  It doesn't leave enogh alternative for discussion and clear understanding.  Only something for debate to determine lines and beliefs individually.

One more time folks...."Llight and shadow are opposite sides of the same coin.  We can illuminate our paths or darken our ways.  It is a matter of choice."  -  Maya Angelou

We just have to learn to think on the bigger picture.
