Can you explain to me why when the people of Vic. travel to a holiday destination do they bring their attitude

I live at a holiday resort and find that people who travel here in the holidays are rude arrigant hostile and seem to think that for some reason we are here to serve them

  1. Noone has a right to be arrogant or rude, it's just bad manners.

    However that said if they are purchasing something from you (be it accomodation or otherwise, it wasnt clear) you ARE there to serve them.

    I suspect there are a lot of people with attitude problems, but you need to also change yours and improve your customer service by the sound of it. Remember, people are on holidays to have an enjoyable time, not to have to organise everything themselves.

You must be very unlucky!  I lived on the Sunshine Coast for a long time which is full of "southerners" all year round.  They were always happy and polite as customers, always friendly and chatty at the beach and in parks, their presence was the lifeblood of many small businesses, and they were always enjoying what the region had to offer.  Holidaying Victorians were a pleasure to have around!
