Can you extract the sound from a .flv file?

I have some .flv format videos that I play through Real Player and I was wondering if it's possible to extract the sound from the video and have it as an .mp3 or .wav file?

yes, you can , you just need to get a flv converter to extract music from flv video to mp3, wma, aac, etc,.

then sync it to your iPod or burn to cd, etc,. I always use Moyea FLV to Video Converter to extract flv video to MP3, here is a guide about it
