  1. Personally, I don't believe you can "fall" in love with anyone!  I think you can fall in lust, but love starts out like a seed and it grows.  Having said that, do I believe you can grow to love someone you have never seen?  Yes, I certainly do.......I did!  We corresponded and talked on the phone for 18 months before we met and when we finally did meet, it was everything we thought it would be and more.  We ended up living together for 5 years.  He was the love of my life and it was the happiest time of my life.  Fairy tale ending?  Not quite!  For all that time I thought he was a widower (I was a young widow of 47) and quite by fluke I discovered that his dead wife was still very much alive and they were still officially together!  Long, complicated story how he pulled it off, but I didn't see any red flags throughout our entire relationship.......but I wasn't looking for any!

If it's someone you have met online.....please use extreme caution!  Don't hesitate to check them out.  If they are widowed or divorced, ask to see copies of the death certificate or the Decree Nisi.  You can't always trust people you meet online and it's better to be safe than sorry.  There are a lot of lonely, manipulative, predators in the internet world who can be anyone they choose to be.  Keep one step ahead of them and save yourself some heartache.

  2. oh dear, you should socialize more. This can be scary for her if you continue to send messages. You can fall in love with someone you have interacted with. Not on one sided kinda thing. This has potential to get creepy. Do not stalk this woman. Get some friends and move on for your sake. She does not know you really exist and should not know.

  3. I think it is very posiblle to fall in love with someone you've never seen, but in this situation its too difficult to tell cause it seems you haven't had a proper conversation with her.  I mean do you know what sort of person she is and what kind of personality she has.  If you do then it is possible to call it love but if not then it may not be love.

I might be wrong this is just my opinion.

  4. No, it's not possible to fall in love with someone you've never seen. What you're describing is not love. It's just infatuation, You just like that person.

  5. Well, yes, in a way you can fall in love with someone you've never seen.  What you fall in love with is your idea of that person.  Unfortunately we all too often do that to people we meet face to face as well.  That is why we find the "love hurts" -- because we don't love the person as they really are, but how we want them to be.

  6. okay first of dont think that those thankyou letters mean anything, she was just being friendly.

i thinks its possible to develop a crush on someone youve never met. you have a crush. lol im a teenage girl, so. yes i am in love with many many many cute guys that play in my favourite tv shows and stuff. lol also i remember this one talk show host on the radio, i also added him on facebook and actually wrote him a comment saying how much i liked his show.(and he thanked me) HOWEVER, that did not mean i was IN LOVE with him. i didnt even know him, even if you think you know her, you dont. and you cant be in love with someone you dont know. you are absoloutly not in love with her. you have a crush. thats it and i wouldnt take it any further.
