Can you fall through the roof?

my bedroom window is right above the lower tier of our medium-sized house's roof. our roof is kind of old... not too bad though. has anyone ever fallen through a roof? is it safe for me to walk out on the roof? is it even remotely possible that I could fall through?

Yes, it is remotely possible that you could fall through the roof.  But, the roof would have to be in very bad shape to do so and would likely be leaking in that weak spot.

You are more likely to fall off the roof than fall through it.  

Be careful if you have a tile roof, the tiles are fragile and easy to break.  Metal roofs are easy to bend and hot shingle roofs are easy to damage.
