  1. That's *your* cat now.  Just buy a bag of food.  If you don't want her to stay you HAVE to stop feeding her,  like yesterday.

Cats are carnivores, yes.  But I have had cats who LOVED corn on the cob, one who loved spaghetti and canned peas, another one who ate anything and everything her people ate.  The cats I have now don't get table food, but they still BEG for cereal and milk.  And they've all always had cat food of their own.  Cats like what they like - that's why we like them.

Having said that, none of these things are *good* for cats.  But the more you read, neither is cat food, so you be the judge.

  2. Are you just posting questions to accumulate points on Yahoo Answers? I find it disturbing that you know how to use computers, but apparently know nothing about cats/pets, particularly how to find out information on them, when you have the world at your fingertips.

That said, some cats will go into other people houses, even when they already have an owner somewhere else. Is this a new cat in your neighborhood? Do you have neighbors you can ask about the cat?  Do you get out much? Do you have a television.....there's usually cat food commercials on now and then; what do you think cat food contains?

  3. cats are carnivores. feed her meat or go get a small bag of cat food. cheese and milk in large quantities can make the cat sick (vomit). No junk food, like crisps and the cat probably won't eat vegetables.

  4. You CAN feed it all those things, but it probably won't eat the vegetables and the other stuff isn't really good for it.

My cats like human food, occasionally we let them have a few bites, but we don't make it their entire source of nutrition.

If you feed the cat, it's yours.  If you aren't planning to keep it, you should just take it to the shelter or find a home for it.  It won't leave once you begin feeding it.

  5. Do you have tuna, they can have that. You can put an egg in the microwave for like 35 seconds or so. Any meat you have in the house except for spicy foods. Try something fishy.

  6. Yes many cats love cheese. Do you have any canned fish? They also love mackerel, tuna, and sardines. Some cats will eat canned corn, chicken or turkey, but not ham or Spam.

If you are thinking about keeping the cat on a permanent basis suggest you get some cat food, both wet and dry.

But be careful! Cats can steal your heart ;-))

  7. cats are carnivores...anything that is pure meat like chicken, beef, veal or turkey no ham or fish...lunch meat is good and No milk...or just run to the grocery store and get a bag of cat food
