  1. labour can be different for everyone 1 my last labour i had no pain in my belly just lower back sadly u cant really put a time on how long it takes to kick in sometimes can happen quick other times hrs sorry i know thats not what u want to hear x

baby can move when in labour but they do tend to slow

i found sometimes if they moved with a contraction it kinda hurt a lil ur already in pain then baby decides to move! i have only ever felt the odd kick or baby pushing its way down

try walking around for a lil while or a nice bath

hopefully the pains will kick in soon

dont worry to much about the baby moving this will be something they monitor at hospital

    good luck x x x x

  2. the baby doesn't move alot in labor

  3. Not too sure if they move during labor (from beng in delivery rooms with 4 women who've given birth this year, each one was different...some moved, some didn't) but I know for a fact that they don't move during contractions. As your uterus contracts, it gets smaller in size giving the baby less room to move around.

(I've had my son monitored and as I've contracted, his movements stopped)

  4. When I was in labor my daughter did not move while I was having a contraction, but in middle of them she wiggled alot.

Labor is different for everyone, you can be in early labor for weeks before you start making any progress or you can jump to hard labor in a matter of minutes. Time the contractions to see if they are at regular intervals. Usually, a true contraction will be your WHOLE stomach, not just the bottom. Try to lay down and drink a glass of water to see if that helps.

Also true contractions get worse with time. If they get more painful, you are in labor! Good luck!

  5. the baby doesn't usually move a lot during labor ( i certainly don't remember feeling either of mine moving) there's not much space to move anyway...

no-one can tell you for sure how long early labor will last for....so all the best!
