Can you feel it when you dialate?

It depends....  By the time it happens, You are feeling pressure from the baby moving.  Whether it's actual dilation or not, I don't know.  I remember when my first child was born, I kept going to the doctor knowing for sure I had dilated this time but then nothing.  I think it's more pressure that you feel.

No, your dr will have to do a vaginal exam to check for dilation.

I just found out today that I am 3 cm dilated.  I was absolutely shocked because I haven't felt anything!
