  1. yes coz i have a brace

  2. umm yahhhh???

  3. your teeth are bones (part of the skeletal body system) but they are innervated (have nerves in them) and on some people these nerves are closer to the surface than in others (which is why people with sensitive teeth feel the cold or hot through their teeth).  they are not sensory organs (like nose for smelling or skin for feeling) so really, it is the rection that you feel.  if you bite your teeth together, the movement effects your gums so you 'feel' your teeth hitting.  It depends what you were meaning really.  Hope this has helped!

  4. nope

  5. No you can't.

You can feel when there is pain in your teeth but you can't actually feel things with your teeth.

  6. That's a very good question. There is an old expression "It set my teeth on edge." There is a nerve in our teeth which makes us aware of infections in our sockets which, if untreated, could kill us. We can obviously tell when something is soft or tough, but I think that it is the nerves in our jaw that tell us this - not our teeth.

We cannot feel with our teeth, yet the nerves in our teeth seem to be connected to the rest of the nervous system and react to strong stimuli from elsewhere.

Perhaps there is some contributing  neurololigist who can give us the right answer.

  7. Anyone who's ever had sensitive teeth can tell you that you definitely can feel with your teeth.  Think about the noise of nails on a chalk board.  If you have sensitive teeth, you can feel the sound in your teeth.  Not pleasant at all!

  8. No. The feeling you think is in your teeth actually comes from your gums. You have nerves in your gums that are very sensitive and this creates the "feel with your teeth" sensation.

  9. yep. i think you can
