Can you file Bankruptcy without an attorney? Please do not say "Pay your bills". The bankruptcy is due to an anormous amount of surgery/ doctor bills that the insurance company came back almost a year later and denied after turning in form after form. It is a long story.

Serious Answers ONLY please and if you don't have an answer please don't answer at all. I just need the answer to the question, just a yes or no. I know it is better with an attorney. I just did not know if you can without one.

  1. Yes. An attorney can help with the negotiations, but you can certainly do it on your own. There's some free articles and DIY-law books at http://www.nolo.com .
