  1. Yes, but must be at least 8 years since previous filing.


  2. Why would anyone want to prolong the agony of not being able to purchase anything or get a bank account or anything else required in this life more than even one time.

    We were forced to live without a bank account which meant we had to cash checks through the check cashing services which cost 25 percent of the check amount per pay day, then purchase money orders to pay bills like electric and water. This went on for 14 years.

    Why would anyone even want to try it once, let alone twice?

Back in the day you could without much fuss...but now, thanks to new legislation, they've made it extremely difficult to get a chapter 7 approved at all.  You're likely to end up with a chapter 13 where you have to pay back your debts...it still ruins your credit and they still confiscate your tax returns...enjoy.
