Can you file for unemployment as a perdiem worker

I was recently laid off as a per diem worker in florida and having a hard time finding another job so i just wanted to know if this was possible

  1. Normally no.  A per diem worker is basically hired by the day for that one day and does not accumulate time.


  2. Normally you would not be eligible for unemployment benefits.

  3. If you mean you were a temporary worker, no, I don't believe you can file for unemployment.  You can go to a day labor place or a staffing agency to find employment if you're having a hard time.
