Can you fill your CNG car at home?

Question

If you have a CNG converted car, can you fill you tank from your home gas supply? Most of us (urban/suburban anyway) have natural gas piped right to our homes. I heard CNG is about $1.00 per (gallon of gas equivalent).

You'll need to install a gas compressor to accomplish a "fill up" and I recall those are hundreds of dollars.

A company in Canada sells home compressors for just such a purpose, and they're loaded with safety features, but they are expensive, but worth it!
