These are the stocks from the twin deficit flows of the Current Account Deficit or external deficit and the Government Budget Deficit or internal deficit.

    It has:

    public debt - 60.8% of GDP (2007 est.)

    budget deficit - revenues: $2.568 trillion

    expenditures: $2.73 trillion (2007 est.)

    current account balance - -$738.6 billion (2007 est.)

    Given the importance of these particular numbers, you can find more recent values by doing the appropriate web searches.
