Can you fire a bb/pellet gun in city limits legally in Missouri? ?

Now i want a bb gun but i also want some where to shoot it without getting in trouble. So please back up your anwser if possible

Can't tell you about MO, but in some states, airguns come under the same regulation as firearms, so do make sure.  Fortunately, in my community, I can actually get straight answers form the cops at the police department.  But that's not necessarily true in some communities.  Watch if they actually look it up, or just give some pat answer without checking.
