  1. Of course.

  2. Yes, any modern revolver or semi-auto will fire in any position.  However, holding a semi-auto handgun in one of the strange "gangsta" positions can, in some instances, affect the ejection of the empty brass shell and can result in a jam.  It is best to fire your weapon in the normal upright position unless you find yourself lying on your back on the ground.

  3. A handgun can fire from any position so keep that in mind and never point it at yourself or anyone that you don't intend to harm.

  4. If you are in china.....Then yes!

okay, its a joke, but still funny as heck

  9. as long as there's a round in the chamber and the firing pin's not broken.

  10. It will fire, but you might not be able to control it.

  11. You can and you should if you are training in self defense with a handgun.    Practice laying on the ground and with your weak hand.

  12. yes, but if its a semi - auto it might jam.

  13. Yes, it's possible to do all sorts of stupid things like they do in the movies, and there are good reason people don't really do that stuff in real life.

  14. Note that the cartridges are round, and therefore don't have any preference to their position. Note that also the cylinder and firing mechanism of the gun is round, also. The gun doesn't know or care which end is up, so it's up to the person pulling the trigger to control it. Guns can shoot in any position, pointed in any direction. That's why the first rule of gun safety is to assume a gun is always loaded and ready to fire.

By the way, someone also once asked that since the bullet drops "down"  when you shoot it in the normal position, does it fall "up" when you shoot the gun upside down? Sorry, no, it's not the position of the gun that makes the bullet drop, it's gravity, and it always works in a downward direction.

  15. Why not?

  16. Yes. But depending on the caliber, the recoil could probably mess up your elbow.

  17. as long as you can control the gun yes

  18. Lay on the ground and practice!*
