  1. Yes, most ammunition includes an oxidizer, which makes oxygen in the atmosphere unnecessary.  It might even fire better due to the lack of atmosphere to slow the bullet.

    Be sure to be braced against something or you'll get knocked on yer keister.

    The chamber pressure is still contained in the steel barrel and firing mechanism. The lack of atmospheric pressure isn't much of an issue.

    The lack of standard gravity is the big issue. The recoil impulse remains the same, so the amount of pull holding you to the surface is not sufficient to stabilize a firing position on the moon.
