Can you fit a strap to a classical guitar if so how and where do you get the bits?

  1. I don't know what you mean by "bits."  You can put a strap on a classical guitar by attaching one end to the end pin and tying the other end to the headstock.  Or you can have a strap button attached to the heel of the neck and attach the other end of the strap there.

    There are straps specifically designed for classical guitars.  They hook on to the sound hole and attach around your neck.  (See link.)

    Most classical guitarists perform sitting down with a small stand under their left foot.


  2. A true classical guitarist would never play stood up.
