Can you fit an astra 1.7 turbo diesel into an M Reg instead of the non turbo 1.7 isuzu diesel van?

I have cooked the head on my 1.7 isuzu diesel and have a friend who has an astra 1.7 turbo diesel engine. Just wondered if anyone knows if this can be done, I have been told it is the same engine but with a turbo in the exhaust.

yes....but make sure the engine your swaping isnt the ''low blow'' type
