Can you fit speakers in the rear of old car?

I have a relativly old car which only has two speakers in the front doors,and none in the rear, i was wondering if you can atually get speakers fitted in the rear like where the boot is? is it possible or will it cost a bomb??

  1. You can put speaker boxes in the trunk or mount speakers to the bottom of the rear deck under the rear windshield


  2. I have cut holes in the back deck below the rear windshield and put in speakers.  if you don't want to mess up the look, try removing the material that covers the deck, you might be surprised to find some speaker holes already there.  Then you'd just have to run the speaker wire.

  3. You can put them in the rear but unless you or someone you know has a dremel or small reciprocating saw which they can use to cut some lets say 6.5" holes in the rear deck.and can then run wires to the front of the car it will cost you an arm and a leg most likely.
