here it is.

Green iguanas, which are also called common Iguanas, are native to Mexico and South America, but they are kept as pets in many other places as well. The green iguana can grow up to six feet in length. Unlike other lizards that have difficulty digesting plants, the iguana feeds on fruit, flowers, and leaves. Since iguanas are used to high temperatures pets must be provided with a heated lamp or rock at all times. Many people have enjoyed this unusual pet however, as a result of their capture for the pet trade iguanas are in danger of extinction in many places.

  3. Green iguanas, also known as the common iguana, are native to Mexico and South America. However, they are often kept as pets in many locations around the world. The green iguana can grow up to six feet in length, and therefore they require a large enough cage to allow them to move freely and exercise. The iguana feeds on fruit, flowers, and leaves, unlike other lizards which have difficulty digesting plants. Since iguanas are accustomed to high temperatures, pets must be provided with a heated lamp or rock at all times. Many people enjoy this unusual pet because (I don’t know anything about iguanas but I think I would add something like: because they are intelligent, easily trained, have great personalities, are fun to watch, whatever it is that they do?? besides being scaly, fork tongued reptiles.).  Unfortunately, as a result of their capture for the pet trade, iguanas are in danger of extinction.
