okay, i have veryy puffy, curly, thick light brown hair, that is cut a little below to my shoulders so im still able to put it up (ecspecailly in a high bun, thats all i ever do because its to puffy for anything else.)

My shampoo and conditer that i use is: Loreal Vive for dry rebillous hair.(yellow bottle.) i just started to use this type, before i was using the organge bottle, and before that i was using Tresemme. But loreal ViVe yellow bottle has been making my hair really soft, and while im swimming to its not sticky, and gross..untill the next day. haha

Hair styles: everyday when im just waking up and putting it up i put it in a high bun. sometimes after i take a shower i scrunch it(even thoguh its really curly,) and where it in a side ponytail. i cant wear it down cuase it will become puffy in like 10 mins. my hair drys extremly fast! &sometimes, not much i wear it in pigtails, i really like it that way but my hair is to notty to do everyday so once in a blue moon i do that.

heres how i do my hair in the shower, if you think somethings wrong PLESE tell me=)

1. shampoo, scrub in scaple..with lots of it. sit for a few seconds then rinse.

2. re-do step one.

3. conditioner, scrub in.

4. wash body, WHILE conditioner is sitting in hair

5. rinse conditioner.

when i get out...:

1. put some "discilpling" orange stuff (sorry i forget what its called!!)

2. put some stay in conditioner in

3. comb it out.

* i let it dry then leave it in a ponytail at bedtime. in the mornign its back in a bun.

blow drying&straightning:

i used to blow dryafter i washed it..nothing greast happend lol

straightning it takes about...1 hour. so i never do it, cause it dosent come out straight it comes out wavy and still puffy.

treatments: every so often i do a treatment to my hair, i put some special conditionder in and leave it in with a shower cap over it then rinse after like 30-45 mins. it makes it softer for a long time. and not so dry.

*if theres any better products or things to do with my hair, pleasee tell me!and anything wrong or better to do pleasee tell me.

**there will be a best answer.

^and sorry its so long!!

and im on a budget so dont go crazyy with stuff=)

  1. Is your hair coloured? Is it natural? Why are you using a shampoo for dry hair, and why are you treating natural hair?

Buy a shampoo and conditioner for normal hair and dont go over $8.

Thats it thats all you need. Natural hair does not need all the c**p you are putting on it as you only weight it down. Wash it only twice a week.

  2. you should probably use leave-in hair treatments more often, at least once a week.

i used to sleep with a ponytail in too, but my hairdresser told me it causes breakage and damage.    also, silk pillowcases are supposed to be easy on your hair and not cause frizz overnight.

maybe you can try using mousse when its wet, for control. apply it to small sections of hair at a time, then scrunch it to get defined curls instead of random frizz, and let it air dry. it might be time consuming, but worth it if it works for you.

washing hair too often, (every day) really dries out your hair, so go as long as you can without looking greasy.

using a curling iron can help tame your hair, smoothing it together into curls helps fight frizz.

sometimes to keep my hair from puffing out, i put bobby pins in at the side of my head to hold the hair a little closer to my head.

when drying hair, dont rub with the towel, instead pat it dry until its only damp. then put in your products, scrunch to define curls, and leave it alone. the more you mess with curly hair when its drying, the frizzier it will get so touch it as little as possible.

look for products that resist humidity!

  3. first off u don need to rinse and repeat.. well i don.. hehe

and u could get a haircut w like layers, or something that'll thin ur hair.. o and from my experience if i go to sleep w a ponytail it makes my hair either all poofy and hard to work w the next morning or jus all gross and knotted :/

oh and garnier is always a good thing :]]

uhmm.. straighten ur hair too and put some defrizz gel or cream in it.. thatll always look good :]]

    hope i helped :}]

  4. I have pretty curly frizzy hair....i do the exact same routine as you too :) And i use Tresemme.

Although i CANNOT do anything with my hair unless it has been straightened...i dont even like it up without been straight.

It does take me an hour everytime i have to do it...maybe abit less..I bought the GHD straighteners as no other maker would straighten my locks. I use frizz syrum...any kind doesnt really matter to me....

My point is you have to take the time if you like your hair straight hun...sorry :)

Also when your hair is still damp, you can scrunch it like usual just use lots of mousse in your hands when scrunching....hairspray will finish it off.

I would definately try that too, your hair ends up being rock hard though lol....

    Hope i helped x

  5. Moroccan miracle oil gold will change your life.  First off dont wash your hair every day, second dont sleep with it in a ponytail. Stop using your "discilpling" orange stuff and use the moroccan miracle oil. Do your steps in the shower thats all correct. Then you should be

    When you get out

    1. Put a dime to nickel size of Moroccan miracle oil gold in my hands rub in through my ends then to the top of my head

    2. Go to bed.

    3. Throw out your elastics!!!!

Your blowdrying & Straightening will be so much easier- Will take you half the time I bet!!!
