my husbands family all live out of state, we are due to have our first child the end of november. some of his relatives have offered to fly us out for christmas, but my baby will only be barely a month old. first of all can you even take an infant that young on a plane? secondly, my first response is are they crazy!!! i don't want to take my baby out around all kinds of the public during "cold" season. he or she will be too little and i don't want to risk it, they should fly here, am i right?

  1. i wouldnt, u r right about the cold season, and the baby wont even have gotten his/her first shot yet.  tell them for Easter to fly you's out.

good luck, and do whats right for ur baby.

  2. I think you are right. Stick to your instincts. It does sound a little crazy to attempt.

  3. Oh lordly, I was afraid to take my 1 month old into walmart, much less an airplane where even full grown adults get sick. Either ask them to fly to you, or wait a few more months... It's not worth the risk.. Newborns are so fragile..
