Can you get American Spirit Cigerettes in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico?

Question

Yeah, I know, smoking is a bad habit. BUT, when I drink, I like to have a couple here and there. I plan on defiantly drinking in Playa Del Carmen and Tulum! Thats what vacation is all about right? But I will only smoke American Spirit Cigerettes.

So my question is, can you get American Spirits in Playa Del Carmen? I'd rather buy them cheaper there than pay $6 a pack here!

Yeah, you can buy American smokes and some Canadian brands in most of the resort towns in Mexico now.  I have no idea about American Spirit, but I'm sure any filthy tobacco you put to your lips will suit you fine.  Either that or buy some duty free and bring it with you.

I've never seen that brand before (though I've never been to Cancun either). Higher chance you won't find it and even if they did sell it, cigs in Mexico are becomming very expensive because the government loves to put new taxes on them. You could end up paying 10 dollars just for 1 imported package here.

Oh, and cigarrettes cause mouth cancer.
