I mean if you join groups? can you get Computer Virus? is Groups OK? & safe?

u can get virus from any thing that is sent by the group members. as no one knows what it could contain and their intentions. the things sent by them are in individual capacity hence the problem might arise,. hence be careful before u open or download

generally speaking, you cant get a virus from joining a group, and a few years back Yahoo really made an effort to stop viruses from going through e-mail. also recently, Yahoo disabled some of the things people could add to groups that might contain malicious scripts.

so the odds are pretty low

you can get a virus from clicking on any site/ link. web users need to be up to date on their own virus software protection.
