Can you get Komodo Dragons as pets? I'm just curious, because they would be REALLY cool pets.

  1. You can get very close cousins of the komodo dragon as a pet. Crocodile monitor is the LONGEST lizard on the planet. komodo is the heaviest. if ur looking for a big kool pet its the crocodile monitor or the asian water monitor. crocodile monitors have a length of 14 feet sometimes. and are quite big, asian water monitors can be about 7feet long but much more build to there bodys. both lizards are tameable.
