Can you get a 2 month visa extension in lima PERU?

the books say yes but the office i went said NO.

they said i can only have 1 month nd would need to pay $30

IS THIS CORRECT???????'

  1. I would trust whatever the Migration office says as the book may not be updated. There is a migration office in Miraflores, right below the Ovalo Alcazar (in front of the cinemas) and they open from 8am till Noon every weekday. You can ask them or go to their web page (http://www.digemin.gob.pe/)

    From what I've investigated, you can only extend your visa for one month and yes, it costs 30 bucks.

    What you can always do is get out of the country (via Chile or Ecuador) and enter it again and your visa will be valid for 6 months again without extending it or paying.
