Can you get a clear stud when just getting your lip pierced?

i start back to school in a few days and im planning on getting my lip pierced and i was just wondering if you can get a clear stud so i wont get in trouble at school for having it done

Most retainers are made of plastic and it's not good to put plastic in a piercing before it's healed. Do you go to a private school or something? I never got in trouble at mine and they put a huge ring in after I got it pierced to accommodate for swelling.

yes, there's clear studs but they make you look like you have a pimple
