Can you get a criminal record for driving without a license in the UK?

Question

My friend got caught driving without a full license here (but she has a provisional license with insurance in her name). She was driving her car on her own when she got stopped.

I know she mite points and a fine, but i just want to know if theres a chance that she mite criminal record. Im worried. =S
