Question:

Can you get a full upper-body workout from just push-ups and sit-ups each day?

Also, what are some good leg workouts? Would simply riding a bike each day work well?

I don't have much time on my hands so I need some quick and simple work-outs.

Thanks

  1. Try squats for lower body workouts. Squat down enough so your knees are at 90 degrees then hop up with legs still spread apart. Do like 25.

  2. The anser is no. a full upper body workout must work all your muscles. pushups only work your triceps and situps work your core muscles, abdominas rectus(stomach muscles) obliques (if doing rotating situps) to get a full upper body workout the following muscles need to be worked. you can find a Human muscle body diagram if your not sure where the muscles are located. they are splenious capitis, levator scapula, pectoralis major, pectoralis minor, platysma, rhomboids, triceps, biceps, extensor muscles, flexor group muscles, and deltoids.

leg workouts- there are many the most common is the bodyweight squat just squat down so that the upper and lower leg create a 90 dregree angle then slowly come back up. your muscles improve and get stronger through slow controlled movement. Do some stretching before  startting any major exercise and work major muscles before s,maller ones. you can achive this workout in about 30-45-minutes but you should try for about an hour of exercise.

I hope this helps a little bit

  3. pushups work tricpes, pecs, and a little bit of your front delts.  if you threw in some pullup variations you would be reaching more of a full upper body workout by incorporating your lats
