Can you get a job if you a male dental hygienist?

I have hear that most dental hygienist are woman but is it really hard for a man to find a job as a dental hygienist?

i cant really answer the question with any resolution..but i can tell you that my dentist (male)has a male dental hygienist working with him...its just the two of them..and a female at the front desk..and the hygienist is pretty young...i must admit its the first male i have ever come across...but don't stress too much...cause i have heard that good dental hygienists are hard to find...so i wouldn't worry too much about gender...good luck!!

A man can do that job same as any woman. I don't think you'll have any problems. There are male nurse out there, why not male dental hygienists.
