Can you get a package/parcel delivered to your local post office to collect from there instead of to your home address???????

  1. no, thats why many companies charge £££ for "mailing boxes" but if you try to get it posted to your home and you are not in, they will take it to their local sorting office where you can arrange to pick it up in your own time.


  2. I think the only way to do that is to have a PO box or alternatively if the local post office will agree to hold it for you.. They might do this if its a smaller more community type post office.

  6. Yes, just don't answer the door when the postman delivers.  - It always gets sent back to the sorting office, and they leave you a card to collect it.
