Can you get a period and be pregnant?

I have pregnancy symptoms and have been pregnant before. I got my period for one day this month. Cycle about 26 days long (irregular) last real period was 7/6/08 and I had unprotected s*x in which my husband ejaculated within me b/w the days of 7/15-7/23

  1. I have a friend who had regular periods up until her 7th month of pregnancy.....so definitely yea, it does happen sometimes...


  2. Well, you can but that isn't a good sign. If you got your period for only one day, then that means that your body is just realizing that you are pregnant, and it's possible that your body flushed out the baby.

    I think you should go see a doctor A.S.A.P because it can lead to infections or other things.

  3. Yes. Every woman is different. Some have their period shorter or even full length, in the beginning of the pregnancy. Some even go their whole pregnancy with a period.

    My aunt has had her menses monthly throughout her pregnancy and the baby was born premature.

    The thing is, she has to stay on bed at all times other than her regular visits to the washroom.

  6. sweetie every ones' different but i'm sure you've heard that. My best friend never knew she was pregnant for 3 months because she had her period.  

  7. I have talked to people who got their period (or had bleeding) while they were pregnant, so yes it can happen.
