  1. That depends on where you were.

Here in NYC, yes you can.

    Good Luck...

  2. No, you can't. As long as your not being Abscene.

The Horn IS a Communication Device, to let other Drivers know something. It is more than just for Emergencies. It's a Friendly Reminder to Alert other Drivers to Pay Attention to something.

    And Dave N, Your a Dumbass!!!! >:P

People here in Indiana Honk to say 'Hi', and not just to say abscene things!

  3. Definately. Horns are actually a safety device, not a means of communication.

  4. Yup Yup, its not the intended purpose. Are you really in that much of a hurry anyway?

  5. not in aus, every second person does it. If they aren't moving are you going to A) get out of your car whilst on the highway and politely ask them to move on or B) honk and they move instantly? B all the way

  6. no you can not get a ticket.  I once blared my horn for a good 2 min at a cop one time because he almost backed into me trying to leave a parking lot.   But why else do you think the horn is even there? its there for a reason so go out there and use it.  If you can get a ticket for it then car manufatcurers wouldnt have installed it!

EDIT: i asked a question just now about this
