  1. 32,30€ for the Berlin "7-Tage-Karte Umweltkarte" in tariff areas A, B and C. Restrictions apply, like no use of public transport during rush hours. But that's the best offer you can get. It's valid on U-Bahns, S-Bahns, busses and trams, for seven days, as the name implies.

    Forget the tourist cards; they're a rip-off.

  2. Depends on where you're going. Unified fare systems in Germay are always divided into several zones, so people who just need to travel a few stations pay less than those who travel through the entire system.

See http://bvg.de/index.php/en/Bvg/Index/fol... for an overview of all available tickets and the zones. The plain standard 7-day-pass costs between 26 € and 62 €, see http://bvg.de/index.php/en/Bvg/Detail/fo... .

There are a number of special tourist offers, too: http://bvg.de/index.php/en/Bvg/Index/fol... .
