I'm 15 and I'm online homeschooled so I don't know how I would get a work permit? I live in Las Vegas, Nevada by the way.

  1. I Think you would go to like the City Hall building

  2. Yes. I am 16 and I still need one.

I am home schooled also, so just go to a Board of Education or a School office, and ask for one.

I go to the Board of Education and get one.

You have to fill a part out, your parent has to fill a part out, and the employer has to fill a part out. Then you take a form of ID, such as permit, birth certificate, etc., and go back to the BOE and give it to them, and they will get you your permit.

  3. Actually, in Nevada only those under 14 need a work permit. However, be aware that the hours you can work & the types of jobs that you can hold are restricted until you are 16. Also, the employer will likely want to see your birth certificate or other proof of age.

  4. Yes, you can. you can probably go to your nearest school and ask them to do it for you ,and if they cant which they should ,let them tell your where to do it.

    you will need

    Social security card

    passport or birth certificate

    id

    up to date doctors note
