Can you get album covers and info for imported songs on itunes?

I wanted to know if you download songs from bearshare, limewire, kazaa can you still get the artwork cover and info (album artist) on the songs you import by importing them to itunes? or can you do it manualy? how does that work I haven't messed around with it. thanks

Yes, first  right click the name of the song and go to the get info button.  Type in the name of the album exactly, and artist exactly as it appear. The smallest mistakes will mess you up.   An easy way to double check this is do a search in the Itunes store.   If you got the names right, and titles right, go the advances settings and choose download  album artwork.  This should work for about 70% the albums.  The others, you will have to do manually. The way I do it is to open a separate window in   amazon, look for the albums, then drag the artwork to the blank artwork screen.  When you do this, take out all unnecessary details about the album.
