Can you get an STD?!?!?

i know you can get an std from having s*x..but can you get one from sitting on a toilet??? or from anything else besides s*x??

You know I was watching the Trya Show one day and they were talking about germs.

I think they said it was possible to get pubic lice from a toilet.

Not quoting, but I remember them saying you can get something from a public toilet.

nope. You cant get anything from sitting on a toilet seat.

NOT EVEN CRABS. I promise. We had doctors and nurses

come in and talk to us about stds and such.

You can contract genital lice ("crabs") from sharing/trying on underclothing, trying on swimsuits (ALWAYS wear your own underwear while trying on a swimsuit!), and sharing bath towels.  The same might hold true for some forms of bacterial, parasitic, and viral STD's but I think it would be much harder to contract them through anything but "intimate" contact.

i seen it on oprah you could. Some STIs like  herpes, genital warts and  crabs  are passed on skin contact    instread of bodily fluids.. so it wouldnt surprise me if you could form a tolite seat..    i dont use public  washrooms.
