  1. Yes, you can get bitten and not know for quite a while but eventually you will find it as it grows while it sucks your blood.

  2. The thing about ticks is, they don't actually "bite" you.  What they do is bury themselves under the top layer of your skin.  (I know it sounds sooo gross but unfortunately that's what they do).

You don't explain why you think you have a tick or what your symptoms are so it's a little hard to answer your question.

  3. Usually you will notice because the area will be swelled and a red like colour and irritable.

FOR REMOVING A TICK PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL AND LISTEN

You need to remove the tick as soon as possible because it can pose risk for infection. Do so by taking tweezers and trying to get as close as possible to the ticks head and ONLY apply GENTLE pressure and pull out, DO NOT RIP , POP, OR TEAR the tick in half because this can leave bits of it still in your skin and pose risk of infection. be as gentle as possible when removing.

  4. Yes. However, you'll see it after a day or so when it starts to drink your blood. To get rid of it, use tweezers and warm up the edges with a lighter. Then grip the tick and hold until he lets go. The metal will conduct the heat and make the tick let go. Then you kill it once you get it off you. Don't crush it while it's on your skin.
