I'm not asking for me. I'm asking about a family member I am very concerned about. My brother recently started taking up with this girl who is, to put it as nice as i possibly can, a s***k and a half. She was arrested a few weeks ago on shoplifting charges and is awaiting sentencing.

He met her in a bar and has been to a party with her all day long today. I know he is probably drunk off his *** right now and is running about two hours late of getting home from the time he said he would.

I'm sorry if this seems like an over-reaction but I am really worried that he got pulled over or something and hes not answering his phone.

  1. No way....it is not against the rules for them to possess alcohol...it is against the rules for them to drink or consume alcoholic beverages...

You can buy it all day long. It is up to the person on parole, not bail, to decide not to drink if it is one of his/her conditions of release...

  2. It wouldn't be too hard to prove that you knew that the person was out on bail.

  3. Well either way, if you're saying you think he might of got pulled over, he's gonna ger charged for DUI.

  4. If she's of legal drinking age then no. If there are no stipulations that says she can't drink. Then s***k or no s***k there is no illegality.

  5. No there is no law that says you cannot drink alcohol if you were in prison unless your a parole who's condition is not to consume alcohol. Even then if a store sell them it and they are of age, there no law that ever said you must not be from prison to buy it. What kind of question are you asking anyway?

  6. yes if they are drunk and driving and if she is not suppose to drink then he would be done.

  7. Ya

  8. Yes.  You can be arrested for furnishing alcohol to anyone who is not legally able to purchase it themselves.  Not just for minors.

  9. yeah. they could charge you big time!

  10. If they are at a house or something,no worries. In a car and drinking, they will have major consequences.

Unless she was ordered by the court for medical reasons not to drink, she and your brother can do anything they want.Hopefullly this won't lead to another arrest because of stupid actions.

Don't worry.the only responsibility you have is for yourself in this matter.I don't think you should bring either one of them into your home, let them live out this drama on the way they are going. without it affecting you.

    Good luck,stay strong.D.
