Wow, sorry for the confusing title. Basically, I have a bank that I have set up since it is near my college and has several ATMs around campus. However, my family is moving to a state where this bank does not have any branches. Can I use this address on my checks with my current bank? Thank you!

  1. It shouldn't be a problem - just change your address with your bank.  It doesn't matter if there aren't any local branches.

  2. You can still use the checks whether the address is correct or not.  The only problem would be that people do not always accept out of state checks.  I used to work for the Texas State Comptroller and when I was working in New York they would not even cash a check from the state of Texas.  I had to deposit my checks in a N.Y. bank and wait two weeks before I could make withdrawals.  But when I worked in Louisiana, I bought several hundred dollars worth of clothes and they accepted my check from a Texas bank.

  3. of course nothing as far as the banking has changed!!!
