  1. The stone circle is roped off for protection but you do get a very good view. Also there are special tours when you can get right up to the stones.

  2. Yes, you pay to get in and can walk around the site. not within touching distance due to problems in the past but you are within 6 feet or so of it. Well worth a visit as well :)
