Can you get contact lenses...?

Without ever having glasses? I went to go get an eye exam and I have a -1.70 or so. I'm nearsighted and 15 years old. So I was wondering if I can go into contact lenses instead of glasses.

Sure you can.  Just talk to your optometrist.

Yes, you can, but I would strongly suggest that you also get an inxpensive pair of glasses to wear when you take your contacts out at night or if you get an eye infection or what not. Even though contact lense are far less bulkier and obtrusive than glasses, sometimes they can be uncomfprtable and you won't want to wear them, so you'd be at a loss if you didn't have glasses. If you want to get contact lenses, you'll have to make another appointment with your eye doctor to get the right fit for your eye.

yes u can but get a glasses just incase ur eyes dont like the contacts to start out with and im sur ur eye doctor will ask u to get glasses incase also
