  1. Yes- and you also get drunk faster when sitting by a hot fire. While I'm not sure why, I would believe it has something to do with heat causing you to use up the liquid in your body. When it's hot, you have to drink more water to stay hydrated. Get rid of the water in your drink, you are left with alcohol being absorbed into your system.

  2. Ha, ha, ha.. hey it's five O'clock somewhere! Really yes and no. The heat and sun can make you more dehydrated to begin with. However the earlier time frame might not make you drunker but catching a buzz at 4pm instead of 10pm can make you feel trashed.

  3. No, you CAN'T get drunker quicker in the sun!

It just depends on how much alcohol, what you weigh, how long between drinks and your experience dealing with it all!

I'm sure people who said yes have little experience. Or perspective.

And you can't get drunker quicker sipping through a straw either.

However, sitting in the sun can make you feel lazier  .  .  .  !

  4. well, I'm not sure about that....but drinking out in the heat of the sun is going to dehydrate you quicker

  5. dont know the reason but yes

  6. If I went out and drank in the sun alone, no, probably not. When you hang out in the sun, you're usually with friends and socializing, which can make the effects of alcohol more noticeable. So, I doubt it's the "sun", but more of the "social situations in the sun" that may make you get drunk quicker.

  7. I get less drunk in the sun because I sweat it out usually. It doesn't matter what lighting you are in.
