  1. Take the rings into a few jewellers and get some quotes. Rings can easily be made larger, at a cost.

  2. You can easily go up that much   just take it to a place you would trust.. it may cost more for 4 sizes but it will be worth it

  3. Going up 4 sizes is going to be hard to do... if the bans are thin (less than 3 mm) they will not be able to go up that large without adding a half shank to each (which is very expensive)

Also if there are any channel diamonds in the rings (diamonds set into the band) you will risk loosening or even loosing diamonds if you try to go up that many sizes.

Consult at least 3 goldsmiths and get their opinions before you let anyone do anything to it.

  4. Absolutely!  Take the ring to a reputable jeweler.  They will measure your finger and then stretch out your ring to fit.  It is done with a heat wand which is put inside the ring and moved in a circular motion until the metal is heated and easy to stretch.

I had this done for my parents 25th wedding anniversary.  My Mom had gained weight over the years and had taken her rings off years before and put them away never to be work again.  I took another ring she wore and took both to the jewelery.  He measured the ring she wore for proper sizing and re-sized both her engagement ring and wedding band to fit.  What a perfect anniversary gift!

  5. you can go up any size however if there are sidediamonds you may have to add diamonds

  6. Yes you can...

You can go up any number of sizes...

When a ring is sized the metal is heated and stretched so the thickness f the band determines how many sizes it can be enlarged before it gets too thin...  If the band becomes to thin it can still be enlarged further by adding metal (this often leaves a slight line between the old and new metal)...

Talk to your local jeweler about the specific rings involved and what will need to be done to enlarge them...
