  1. Without the models its hard to say, alpines will give you excellent sound quality especially if you are powering them with an amp.

I have alpine type r 6x9's in the rear of my car running off a 60x4 amp and they bang pretty hard, my mirrors shake and you can feel the bass in your chest without distortion.

    Good Luck

  2. Not really, the reason for that is because high end audio speakers are not for low tone notes.

  3. I'd think so, I have some bottom end db series Polk Audio speakers and they shake my mirrors and doors.

  4. as long as your powering them with an aftermarket amp it should be good, however dont expect subwoofer type bass from them

  5. These are most likely "full range speakers" and thus will provide "some bass". at reasonable listening levels.    That's why they put a "bass boost" switch on most head units.   But these are only good for "reasonable sound pressure levels".   If you expect to shake the windows or license plates on cars next to you you'll need a sub-woofer with at least a reasonable sized sub amp on it.

Try a Bazooka self contained sub woofer and amp combo.   You don't need a big pair of 15 inch subs to get good sound unless you'll be providing the music for an outdoor picnic.   Some people give up all their trunk space for subs.???    Waste of money and at the sound levels you need to hear "good sounding stereo" a waste of money IMHO.

    Good luck
