Can you get high on wild marijunana?

I just got back from a friends house and last night we were doing poi with flaming steel wool(its tight), and on they way there he showed me the wild marijuana that was planted there, I was wondering if it is possible to smoke it

Guest2924 why would it kill you? there has never been a case where pot killed somebody. this just proves how ignorant people are about marijuana, and yes it would get you high. depending on the quality you might have to smoke a lot though. my guess would be 2-3 grams as compared to high quality which would only take 1 gram or less
