My friend was smelling that stuff and right after that she started getting really dizzy and acting drunk. It was funny but I'm also worried. And also can you get sugar high?

  1. Chances are, your friend was joking.  You could get high off of it, but not just from smelling it.  You really have to sniff it pretty hard.  And when I say high, I mean light headed and dizzy.  You should be worried; your friend just lost some brain cells if she got a good whiff.

And no, you can't get sugar high.  Actually, there was a recent study done that showed that sugar doesn't make you hyper.  Eh, go figure!

  2. yes i cant breathe near NP remover or paint.

  3. Sugar high? definately lol I get it all the time and if you ever saw my friend you'd be a believer on sugar high forever lol. But polish remover? Maybe I know I get a lil dizzy after using it.

  4. i don't think so

  5. Many people are unaware that they have within them, yeast.  It is normally there, in small amounts. However, when concentrated sugars are eaten, it reproduces very fast, &, it turns the sugars into alcohol---Yes it can make a person high on the alcohol that it produces within one's own body.  The more sugar one eats, the higher the yeast infection becomes.  This is nothing to laugh about.  Large quantities of yeast make for major health problems!  And---from the questions that you've been asking tonight, I'm guessing that this is what is the matter with you.  Your questions are Highly Questionable --to say the least-- for a JW!

    Seriously!

And quit huffing nail polish remover!

Do you want to destroy your livers & brains???

  6. They call it a high do to the elevated levels from the minds natural state, some don't really consider it a high as in what drugs do.  As for a sugar high, that is a metaphorical term.  Google the term sugar high to see what it really means.

  7. that s***s for 12 year old kids.

you can die from that ****.

  8. I'm pretty sure nail polish remover is an inhalent, which is considered an illegal drug even though minors are still allowed to buy it. (we can't buy stuff like computer duster I think)

My 5th grade teacher said that sugar is a drug, but then my health teacher in 8th grade said that it wasn't.

They call it a sugar high, but it's not as good of a high as you can get off of other stuff.

I don't think your friend was really 'high' but inhaling **** like that can still kill your brain cells or whatever.

You don't need to be worried- I doubt she's at home snuffing nail polish remover right now. lol.

  9. Well for starters, a drug is anything that influences your body. So a soda is a drug because it makes certain people hyper while it makes others tired. So almost everything is a drug, just some are more harmful than others. So you can get a sugar high but it depends on your blood sugar level, if you feel dizzy and start acting silly from the sugar, a check-up with a doctor might be in order, same if you can't breathe after breathing a certain material.

As for the nail polish? Yes, you can get a high but only for a moment, your friend was just going along with the flow. The way you get a high is by having the solvents in a nail polish enter your body by inhaling. These types of solvents are present in most paint spray cans and stuff such as white-out. How they produce a high is by directly killing off brain cells, thus causing the dizzyness and the silly acting. So just get some fresh air, a glass of water, and avoid smelling the nail polish so you or your friend don't lose any more brain cells. Maybe next time you'll want to wear a mask like the professionals do at a nail saloon's to avoid getting a high?

  10. if you put it like directly to your nose and inhale like a lot.
