If so, how much does it cost? I'm going to try to go for a few casting auditions, and I don't have time to go to school, I was thinking that you can have schooling done online.

  1. well i don't know about on line but i finished my HS as a home school student. you basically go to school 1 or 2 days a week to turn in work and pick up the new one and or do test.

  2. Try out

    www.connectionsacademy.com

    or

    www.k12.com

there both free, but only available in certain states.

  3. k12.com is free for 9th grade. you get all your books and supplies free and you get a laptop check it out.

  4. Yes, you can get home schooled online for 9th grade.  You can get home schooled online all the way up to college, including graduate school, in some cases.  There are several high schools to choose from.  My step son uses Pennfoster for his education.  For information on fees, please see:  http://www.pennfoster.edu/diploma/Tuitio...   This is just one option.  I think the main thing is that the schools is accredited and will grant a full diploma vs GED at the end of training.  Good luck with those casting auditions!  Duck

  5. I have looked into many for my kids.  There is private school that is accredited (so if you want to go back to school you won't get held back).  They also specialize in athletes, and performers that can't go to school.  www.lauralsprings.com.  I am starting my kids there next year.

Cost of it depends on what grade you are in, what courses you need to take, and if you want teachers or not (you can just get the curriculum and do it on your own) look at around $1000 - but you can make payments.

Also check out www.hslda.org it is a site where you can look at your legal rights in each state regarding homeschooling (every state is different), but they also have a list of all the online home school programs out there.  Good Luck!
