  1. They can write anybody a ticket for anything - but that doesn't mean it's enforceable.

Look at the citation and see which code or statute violation is cited.  You can probably look up the actual law on-line, but if not, then just go to the library - but be sure to look it up.

The applicable law will probably cite instances of nudity or willful lewdness, and there will be case law (actual cases that have already been decided) to support what is acceptable for community standards.

I think they'd have a hard time proving their case even if you were walking down the street in your underwear, as long as you were minding your own business. Assuming you had panties on, I think you're "covered".

Please fight this one - as far as I'm concerned, there aren't enough short skirts out there. I fully support your right to arouse as many men as you want with a short skirt, a wink, and a smile.

  2. If your @ss is showing, then yes.

  3. Not at my house, come on over sweetie.

  4. Were you wearing underwear? If you were then no! You were covered!

Panties are really no different than a bathing suit bottom. Use that as a defense and pursue it. That was crazy! Go to the beach and see girls and some guys in bikini bottoms and that OK but wearing a skirt + underwear???...come on give me a break! This guy must be some religious fanatic... (check that out).  Most minis are about 11 to about 15 inches long (even guys can wear these as an option to boring shorts one day...future) and micro minis are shorter but legal and sold everywhere. Now and then there is a "flash" with a mini but so what! That's what undies are for.... (You see more at any beach). Good luck and don't let it slide.

  5. If it comes 2" past your butt it is not a skirt. It is a belt.

  6. they shouldn't, fight this to the death.

  7. There are certain parts of the body that need to be covered when out in public.  If your skirt is not doing it's job, well that's your responsibility.

  8. As long as no private parts were exposed they can't write you a ticket for that. It's no different from wearing a bikini in public. I would take it to court. In illinois they are trying to pass a law against people wearing baggy pants but its going to get shot down by the courts. Fight this in  court, you may even be able to sue yoru local city government and police department, I'd pursue it.

  9. nope i don't think so

maybe depending on the state you are in but ive never heard of that before. I think you should fight the ticket.

  10. they can do whatever ! i mean yeah they can do that if it's WAY to shurt liek your but is showing than DUH !what do you expect!
